Since 1973, Rivermont Country Club has been challenging both to scratch golfers and higher handicap players. Rivermont is proud to have hosted the Atlanta Amateur four times, the sectional qualifying for the USGA's Senior Open twelve times as well as local U.S. Open qualifyings. In 2007, after a $3.6 million dollar course renovation completed by Michael Riley Design and Medalist Golf Inc., Rivermont hosted sectional qualifying for the USGA's Womens' Mid-Amateur Championship. In 2008, Rivermont also hosted the sectional qualifying for the USGA's Women's and Men's Mid-Amateur Championships as well as the 2008 Atlanta Amateur Championship run by the Georgia State Golf Association. In addition to golf, our Members enjoy an active social calendar within our spacious clubhouse and we are currently building a new

A NASCAR-sanctioned stockcar-racing 3/8-mile track with events every Saturday night March-October. Major events include the Southern All Star and NASCAR All Pro 200. Today, this premier short track continues it's twenty-three year tradition by hosting over 2,500 guests and over 125 competitors each week. Lanier National Speedway guests have the option of enjoying all the action in a family atmosphere, from grandstand seating to cooking out in the track side tier and RV parking areas. The track VIP Suites offer all the comforts of home.
